It's almost the end of September, we can all hardly believe it. It also means on the last day of this month we pick someone who signed up for our mailing list to receive a $20 gift certificate to be used on our 9SpotMonk site. Will it be you? Well, it won't if you don't sign up ;/ Here, do this:

1. sign up here [http://www.9spotmonk.com/signup.html]
2. you'll be entered to win a $20 gift certificate
3. if you leave us your birth date (and the ones of your kids if you've got), we'll send you (and them) a real snail mail birthday card (age appropriate of course) and surprise goodies
4. and we'll all thank you personally for signing up and you'll get an email every now and then of our private sales, giveaways, etc, etc, etc.

So when someone says 'since you're the oldest, can you pay?' You'll have that free $20 in hand to pay for what they want at 9SpotMonk.

Fall Weddings: Stone Collection

The Stone Collection by 9SpotMonk Letterpress

This reminds me of a fall wedding, in a vineyard in Napa. Simple and elegant. The original colors of the Stone collection are khaki and denim but we love this variation with khaki and wine.

Letterpress + Robots + Sketchbook = Love

Kids Robot Sketchbook from 9SpotMonk

My son Sandro is a robot fanatic. He walks likes one, he talks like one and sometimes he'll eat like one (which means he's not eating). He says he likes to draw robots so we designed a sketchbook just for him, put it into production and now all robot lovers can have one too. 180 pages of orange, blue and green. 180 pages to take meeting notes in or draw more robots, no doubt for all ages. Comes with 3 non toxic crayons to get you started.

What Does One Princess Give To Another Princess?

Princess Happy Birthday Color in Card from 9SpotMonk Letterpress

Our resident designer Tiffany designed this color in card for her niece, my daughter. One day she was wearing jeans and sneakers and wowza, the next day she requested a pink dress and tiara and that was the end of me. This card definitely speaks to all princesses of all ages - tiaras, diamonds, pearls and a big castle. The card is 100% recycled and comes with three non toxic crayons. My personal advice is to get at least a dozen because not only is your daughter a princess but all her girlfriends are too.

Modern and Understated: Meryle Thank You Notes

The Meryle Collection Thank You Card from 9SpotMonk Letterpress

We know, everyone wants personal letterpress stationery, but these days, email, Facebook and Twitter are just so much easier. But I love getting mail from my friends and family... anything, a note to say hello, a miss you note, or a thank you note. Every letter and note I've ever received is kept in a antique lacquer box my dad gave me years ago. Every now and then I'll open some and read them. Trust me, it's nothing like opening up an old email from 1982 and that's if you backed up yr computer emails from way back when.

The Meryle thank you cards are printed on 100% cotton, paper imported from Italy and come with a white 100% cotton envelope. Or choose your options, it's going to be as stylish as you.

Prices for 100 sets of a 1 color letterpress card and blank envelopes start at $350. Order before September 30, 2011 and receive 1 color envelope printing at no charge, a $241 value.

Splatter Zebra Personal Notes from 9SpotMonk

2011 Fall Fashion Week is coming up fast and furious. So what to do if you don't want to spend $7500 on that 'must have' zebra print skirt? Well, I have an idea... how about $4.00 for a zebra print letterpress card? Or you can spend $7500 on 1875 cards and have enough stationery to last you almost a lifetime.
